Gil Bartholeyns and Manuel Charpy

Gil Bartholeyns is a historian and associate professor at the University of Lille where he teaches courses on material and visual culture. He isthe co-editor in chief of the journal Techniques & Culture (Technologies and Culture).__Manuel Charpy is a researcher at the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS). He has qualified as a teacher (agrégé) in applied arts and holds a doctorate in history. His work focuses on the history of objects, clothing and technologies of the 19th and 20th centuries.
